Support environmental education and Racine's unique community resource -- become a friend of River Bend. Friends receive our newsletter seasonally and fee reductions on programs and recreation equipment rentals (skiis and snowshoes in winter; canoes and kayaks in summer).

Legacy Giving
Please keep River Bend in mind as you review your financial plans. A legacy gift is one that will keep on giving for many years and may have tax benefits to you. Consult your financial planner about the best way to meet a desire to see River Bend remain for future generations.

There is a $20 fee for returned checks. Mailed in registrations will be confirmed by phone.   

Volunteer

Join interesting people, do meaningful work, enjoy beautiful surroundings, and know you are appreciated. Over the past 20+ years, River Bend’s volunteers have:

• Introduced and led thousands of school children in environmental education programs
• Helped maintain our land and wildlife sanctuary that is spectacular in its beauty
• Been the backbone of many a fund raiser such as Pancake Sundays in March
• Are inspirational in the quest for knowledge
• Been part of a Citizen Monitoring program
• Been an integral part of the KOBO (Keep our Beaches Open) project
• Supported the Root Pike WIN initiative
• And found River Bend a downright fun place to hang out.

Volunteer activities in the past have included: being a volunteer program teacher, leading canoeing and kayaking programs, staffing publicity booths at area events, chipping trails, cooking, events planning, photography, painting, carpentry and more.
