The YWCA of Racine is preparing for the 23rd Annual Women of Distinction dinner scheduled for Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Roma Lodge in Racine. 

Please take a few moments of your day to nominate a strong woman of our community to be honored as one of the six 2010 Women of Distinction or as one of the two Young Women of Tomorrow in 2010. 

There are six Women of Distinction categories that you can nominate someone in.  They are as follow:

    (1) Arts & Humanities
    (2) Environmentalism
    (3) Business/Professional
    (4) Youth Education
    (5) Woman of Courage
    (6) Human Rights

The Young Women of Tomorrow award has two nomination categories:

    (1) Outstanding Student Leader
    (2) Young Woman of Courage

The Young Women of Tomorrow award includes a monetary scholarship.

Over the past 22 years, 167 women have been honored for this admirable award. They represent a vital group of women that have led Racine in becoming a stronger community for everyone.
